Software Engineer, Lyft
Class of ’14
Ryan is a Software Engineer at Lyft. She protects Lyft’s users and platform and fights fraud on the Identity and Integrity team. After graduation, Ryan pursued her interests in the intersection of Finance and tech at Deloitte in their Financial Advisory Services sector in New York City on their Anti-Money Laundering and eDiscovery consulting teams. In 2016, Ryan joined Lyft where she has explored the fields of Finance, Accounting and Operations in various roles as a Financial Data Analyst for Lyft’s core business offering and an Autonomous Vehicle Engineering Operations Analyst for their Level 5 facility in Palo Alto, CA. Ryan is excited to leverage her statistics and econometrics learnings from her USC Economics curriculum for machine learning projects and continue growing in her new career. It is her dream to engineer autonomous vehicle software.
